What can you expect?
More and more brides are choosing a bridal boudoir shoot as a personal gift for their partner. Not a standard gift, but a luxury album with stylish photos that you can give just before or on the wedding day, in a beautiful album or on loose "polaroids".
During the shoot, it is not about posing perfectly. Most women find it quite nerve-wracking beforehand, but that feeling usually disappears quickly. I will help you with small pointers where necessary, so that the photos remain relaxed and natural.
A bridal boudoir shoot is just a little different from a regular boudoir shoot. Of course, we photograph beautiful lingerie, but also the details that are part of your wedding. Think of your veil, bridal lingerie, jewelry, or perhaps even your wedding dress. This gives the shoot a true bridal atmosphere. Many brides combine the shoot with their trial hairstyle or bridal makeup. That gives the photos just that extra bit of bridal flair.
The shoot usually takes place in my studio just outside Utrecht, but it can also be at another beautiful location. We take our time and work together to create photos that you will look back on with fondness, and that will serve as a very special gift for your partner.
Veel bruiden vragen zich af wanneer ze een bridal boudoirshoot het beste kunnen plannen. Mijn advies: zo’n twee tot zes weken voor de bruiloft, vaak rond je proefkapsel of make-upproef. Dan heb je het album of de prints op tijd binnen om cadeau te doen.
Je bepaalt helemaal zelf hoe spannend of ingetogen de beelden zijn. Alles gebeurt in een besloten, vertrouwde setting en je krijgt de foto’s alleen zelf te zien, tenzij je uitdrukkelijk anders afspreekt. Zo voelt het van begin tot eind veilig en op je gemak.
