About Aagje

Hi! I am Krista, the face behind this studio, although many also often call me 'Aagje' (that is a long story, feel free to ask!). My creative journey started early: as a little girl, I filled my notebooks and diaries with drawings and designed my own logos and posters. That passion has never gone away. Nowadays, I combine photography and graphic design to tell visual stories and build strong identities that really stand out.

I hear daily: “I’m not photogenic” or “I’d rather not have my picture taken.” Believe me, I know that feeling! Nevertheless, I would love to help you with that, because a photoshoot should above all be fun. Fortunately, I hear that often from my clients as well. My style revolves around authenticity: I like to show things as they are, with real colors, genuine looks, and a spontaneous smile.

Whether it’s a business portrait in the bright studio in Utrecht, an atmospheric wedding shoot on location, or designing a high-quality corporate identity for your company, it is always a wonderful challenge for me to capture your true personality. I want you to look back at the photos and think: “Yes, that’s exactly how it was!”, but also: “Wow, I look so beautiful!” I go in search of the most beautiful version of you, and I love finding it *together* with you. In any case, we always start with a good cup of coffee, because in my opinion, that makes everything more fun.
